Anco Storage to Merge with Beaverswood, Strengthening Service for Resellers

Anco Storage, part of IWS Group, announces that it will merge with sister IWS Group company Beaverswood with effect from 1st April 2026, creating a single, stronger manufacturer and supplier for resellers and distributors across the UK and beyond.

Anco Storage, a trusted supplier of storage and workplace organisation products to the UK reseller market, will become part of Beaverswood from 1st April 2026. The Anco Storage product brand will continue in full, now sitting alongside the established Beaverswood range under a single manufacturer.

This move by IWS Group, the parent company of both Beaverswood and Anco Storage, is designed to streamline operations and deliver a simpler, more efficient experience for resellers. Customers who currently trade with both companies will benefit from a consolidated account, a single set of trading terms, and a single point of contact, reducing administrative complexity without any changes to the products or people they rely on.

Just as importantly, the merger is about continuity as well as improvement: the same products, the same people, and the same great service customers know and value will remain in place, now backed by a stronger combined operation.

By bringing the two businesses together, Beaverswood will also benefit from expanded warehousing capacity and increased supply chain resilience, helping to support reseller partners with even greater efficiency and reliability.

"This merger is the right move for our customers, our brands, and our teams. Beaverswood is an excellent business with shared culture and values, and I have every confidence that our reseller partners will be better served by this change. I’m proud of everything the Anco Storage team has built, and I leave the business in great hands."

- Stewart Bourn, Managing Director, Anco Storage

"We’re delighted to welcome Anco Storage into the Beaverswood family. Together, we can offer our reseller partners an even broader product portfolio, greater operational capacity, and a simpler way to do business. This is a genuinely exciting step forward, and I look forward to building on the strong foundations both businesses have established."

- Stephanie Gentle, Managing Director, Beaverswood

Stewart Bourn will step away from the business on 1st April 2026 following the completion of the transition. Stephanie Gentle will continue as Managing Director of Beaverswood, leading the combined business going forward.

Beaverswood® & Anco Storage at the RAJAPACK UK Supplier Day

Shared stand. Shared message. Strong reseller partnerships.

On 15th January, Beaverswood® and Anco Storage headed to Stadium MK for the RAJAPACK UK 10th Supplier Day, and it turned out to be a standout event for everyone involved.

RAJAPACK is one of the UK’s leading packaging and workplace suppliers, and a valued reseller partner to both Beaverswood® and Anco Storage. So, sharing a stand and telling a joined-up story around workplace efficiency, safety, and storage felt like a natural fit.

Representing the wider IWS Group, Ali Blades (Business Development Manager, Beaverswood®) and Chris Eyles (Head of Sales, Anco Storage) spent the day showing how complementary product ranges can help resellers offer more complete workplace solutions, not just individual items.

A first for workplace suppliers

One of the biggest highlights of the day was being invited to deliver a supplier seminar - the first time RAJAPACK has invited workplace suppliers to present. These sessions have historically been reserved for packaging partners, so the invitation felt like a genuine vote of confidence, not just in the products, but in the partnership.

Rather than death by PowerPoint, Ali and Chris took a more collaborative approach:

  • Asking RAJAPACK teams what challenges they see on customer sites
  • Discussing where workplace products can better support sales
  • Exploring how suppliers can make life easier for reseller sales teams

The feedback spoke for itself, with comments including:

  • “That was the best seminar of the day.”
  • “You were the only people who asked us what we needed from you.”

Following the session, teams were encouraged to visit the stand, get hands-on with the products, and see how Beaverswood® and Anco Storage solutions work together.

And the winner is...

The day ended on a high note with Anco Storage winning ‘Merchandising Collaboration of the Year’. This is fantastic recognition for the work they’ve done with RAJAPACK to support sales.

A well-deserved win, and a great example of how strong supplier–reseller collaboration delivers results on both sides.

Why this matters for resellers

For us, the value of days like this goes far beyond sore feet and step counts.

The engagement throughout the event, particularly during the seminar, reinforced the idea that when we collaborate with our resellers, everyone wins.

  • Offer joined-up workplace solutions
  • Increase average order value
  • Strengthen customer relationships
  • Differentiate from competitors selling single-product lines

A big thank you

A huge thank you to RAJAPACK for hosting such a well-run event, and a big well done to Ali and Chris for representing IWS Group and our wider reseller community brilliantly throughout the day.

From seminar preparation to stand conversations and relationship building (over 15,000 steps’ worth), the impact was clear.

We’re already looking forward to the next RAJAPACK Supplier Day and to continuing to support our reseller partners with products, insight, and collaboration that genuinely helps you sell.

Every Review Counts – Treefo Update (June – October 2025)

At Beaverswood®, we believe that small actions can lead to big change - especially when it comes to the environment. That’s why we’re proud to continue our partnership with Feefo through the Treefo initiative, turning your customer reviews into real-world impact by planting trees across the world.

We first launched the initiative in April 2025, committing to planting at least 50 trees every month in support of vital reforestation projects around the world.

After sharing our first update in June covering April - May's progress, we're now excited to reveal the next chapter - our impact from June - October 2025.

A Greener Planet, One Review at a Time

Every time you leave a verified Feefo review for Beaverswood®, you help fund vital tree-planting efforts in regions that need it most. From Madagascar to Uganda and Kenya, here’s a breakdown of the projects we’ve contributed to in the past five months.

June 2025 – Madagascar

Mangrove restoration in Madagascar plays a vital role in stabilising coastlines and supporting marine biodiversity.

In recent years, vast areas of Madagascar’s original forests have been destroyed, displacing entire animal species and diminishing local people’s ability to farm and live on the land. Entire mangrove estuaries are also gone, leaving the bare earth to wash away into the sea. These mangrove forests are not only crucial carbon sinks, but they also provide habitats for a wide range of marine species that live in the shallows, and provide vital coastal protection from floods and storms.

  • Total Trees Planted: 8,050
  • Our Contribution: 50
  • Species: Avicennia Marina (mangrove species)
  • Project Location: Kandrany 2, Madagascar

Potential Species in the Region

  • 3,346 Plant Species
  • 9 Amphibian Species
  • 30 Mammal Species
  • 143 Bird Species

July 2025 – Uganda

Moringa, also known as the "miracle tree", grows fast and offers nutritional, medicinal, and ecological benefits.

This project involves the establishment of 400 Forest Gardens in the Mount Elgon region in Eastern Uganda. Each Forest Gardens is approximately one hectare each in size, and local farmers are supported and trained to establish and look after their Forest Gardens over a period of 4 years. By the end of the 4-year programme, farmers have an established and protected Forest Garden which they can use to sustain their families and produce vital income.

All the while, the diverse trees planted in the 400 Forest Gardens in the project will provide ecosystem services, like stabilising the soil, and of course will be sequestering carbon from the atmosphere and storing it in the ground.

  • Total Trees Planted: 8,250
  • Our Contribution: 50
  • Species: Moringa oleifera
  • Project Location: Mbale, Uganda

Potential Species in Region

  • 2,131 Plant Species
  • 22 Amphibian Species
  • 157 Mammal Species
  • 493 Bird Species

August 2025 – Madagascar

We helped boost Madagascar’s coastline again. These mangroves are critical for carbon storage and protecting wildlife.

  • Total Trees Planted: 8,300
  • Our Contribution: 50
  • Species: Rhizophora mucronata (another mangrove)
  • Project Location: Kandrany 2, Madagascar

September - October 2025 – Kenya

This indigenous tree helps improve soil fertility and provides shade and habitat. It’s part of a long-term effort to restore natural forests in Kenya.

In the past, Kenya has experienced erratic rainfall, attributed mainly to depletion of the five major water towers and its only remnant of tropical rainforest ecosystem – Kakamega forest. This has led to poor yields for farmers, escalating food prices and debilitating droughts.

The need to restore the degraded areas of the water tower is critical to millions of people who depend on the Kakamega tropical rainforest.

  • Total Trees Planted: 7,400
  • Our Contribution: 100
  • Species: Markhamia lutea
  • Project Location: Kakamega County, Kenya

Potential Species in Region

  • 380 Plant Species
  • 367 Bird Species
  • Between 10 to 20% of the animal species in the forest are nationally unique

Total Trees Contributed by Beaverswood®
(June - October 2025)

  • Trees Pledged by Us: 50 per month
  • Months Covered: 5 (June to October 2025)
  • Total Trees Contributed: 250 trees

Thanks to your ongoing support and reviews, we’ve maintained our commitment and continued contributing to projects that improve ecosystems, support local communities, and fight climate change.

Get Involved - It's as Easy as Leaving a Review

One Group, One Mission: Introducing the New IWS Group Brand

We’re excited to share some big news - our parent company, IWS Group, has rebranded. This rebrand unites all companies within the group under a refreshed, instantly recognisable identity.

This change strengthens the connection between the companies in the group, making it clearer and easier for customers and resellers to see the collective quality, reliability, and expertise behind our solutions.

What’s changing?

Why this matters

This rebrand isn’t just about a new look - it’s about reinforcing the strength of being part of a collective.

By aligning our companies more clearly under the IWS Group identity, we’re making it easier for customers to identify our solutions, trust the quality behind them, and see the bigger picture - a group committed to improving workspaces across the UK and beyond.

One group. One mission.

Behind this new identity is a shared purpose:

Mission: One group. One mission. To keep workspaces running safer, smarter, and built to last.

This mission is underpinned by a set of values that guide everything we do across the group:

  • Customer Focus - We listen first, act fast, and go further for our customers.
  • Integrity - Honesty’s not optional here - it’s how we keep each other safe, sharp, and proud.
  • Continuous Improvement - Smart ideas aren’t just welcome, they are how we get better, together.
  • Accountability - We don’t need titles to take responsibility, just pride in the job.
  • Collaboration - We work together with diverse perspectives to achieve common goals.

For Beaverswood® resellers, this means even stronger alignment with a group that’s committed to long-term innovation, reliability, and partnership.

What Beaverswood® resellers need to do

To help you keep your listings and materials up to date, we’ve refreshed our Reseller Toolkit with the latest brand assets:

  • Updated Beaverswood® product logo, along with new Brandsafe and Anco Storage logos
  • Refreshed specification sheets, in line with the new branding
  • An updated ‘Beaverswood® Approved Reseller’ badge, ready for use across your website and marketing

We recommend you:

  • Update your listings wherever the Beaverswood® product brand appears (product pages, catalogues, PDFs, image overlays, etc.)
  • Replace any older specification sheets with the latest versions
  • Add the updated distributor badge where relevant (e.g. category pages, sales flyers, or product detail pages)

Accessing the updated assets

You can download everything you need from the Reseller Toolkit - please contact us for a link if you don't already have one. If Google Drive is blocked or inconvenient, let us know, and we’ll send the assets via WeTransfer or another method that works for you.

Stronger Together

As one group with one mission, we’re stronger, clearer, and better placed to help keep workspaces running safer, smarter, and built to last. Together with our resellers, we can make that mission a reality.

Meet the Team: Lizzie Allen

Lizzie Allen

Meet Lizzie, our part-time pigeon whisperer and full-time Marketing Manager at Beaverswood®.

Job Role: Marketing Manager

Lizzie is the brain (and keyboard) behind Beaverswood®’s marketing magic. Whether she’s planning campaigns, carrying out market research, or writing content at lightning speed, she blends strategic thinking with creativity.

When she’s off-duty, Lizzie swaps marketing metrics for monster manuals. You’ll find her deep in a Dungeons & Dragons campaign, playing video games, re-watching Absolutely Fabulous, or counting down to the annual return of Starbucks’ Gingerbread Latte.

Caffeine-fuelled, a bit chaotic, and slightly obsessed with spreadsheets - she’s the one making sure Beaverswood® doesn’t just talk to customers but actually connects with them.

Random facts:

  • Thinks most tech problems can be solved by turning it off and on again
  • Gets trolley rage in supermarkets
  • Is willing to protect Chipper with her life (not that it comes to that, we hope)
  • Still isn’t sure how the office printer works and, at this point, is too afraid to ask
  • Always takes a jacket

Q&A

💙 What’s your favourite thing about working at Beaverswood®?

“Obviously our beaver mascot Chipper! Also, I love the autonomy here. There’s very little red tape (although we do sell that), so if something feels like a good idea, I can just get on with it. That kind of freedom is rare.

This is also by far the most supportive place I've worked. I have multiple sclerosis and management is so accommodating, allowing me flexibility with working from home and checking in that I'm doing ok - it's really great!"

📦 What’s your favourite Beaverswood® product?

“racksack®, no question. It's iconic. Practical, durable, and genuinely makes warehouse recycling easier - plus, you can hop into it for a makeshift sack race. Truly one of the most versatile products of our age.”

🤖 What skill have you learned or improved since joining the team?

“I’ve leaned into AI - I like to think of myself as a pretty competent prompt engineer now! I’ve been experimenting with all sorts of tools, from content generation to image creation to coding, and it’s fascinating. AI is here to stay whether we like it or not, and I plan to keep up.”

📆 What does a typical day look like for you?

“No such thing as typical! Some days I’m writing all day - blogs, product descriptions, editorials, emails. Other days, I’m buried in SEO, planning campaigns, working on visuals, building landing pages, photographing products, or quietly wrestling Excel into submission. I'm your classic full-stack marketer - it keeps things interesting!”

📈 What’s the most satisfying part of your role?

“When a marketing campaign really resonates with our resellers and helps them drive sales, nothing beats that. I also get a real kick from seeing content I’ve written published in industry magazines. It’s that little ‘look mum, I made it!’ moment.”

❓ ...Is that a Chipper shrine on the wall behind you?

"Don't be jealous."

💬 Favourite video game?

“Pretty much any FromSoftware game - they're notoriously difficult and I'm a sucker for a challenge. It took me two weeks to beat Malenia in Elden Ring - now she finally knows defeat!"

🕊️What’s a completely useless talent you’re proud of?

“I can make a compelling pigeon noise. Not super helpful in marketing, but it’s my party trick. Flock to me, my feathered friends!”

👀 What conspiracy theory, if any, do you subscribe to?

“Walkers Salt & Vinegar crisp packets used to be blue, and Cheese & Onion were green - and they secretly swapped them in the ‘90s. I remember it vividly. You’ll never convince me otherwise. They can deny it all they want, but I know the truth!”

Treefo Update: 50 Trees in May 2025 for a Greener Planet

We’re excited to share an update on our Treefo initiative—our ongoing partnership with Feefo that transforms customer reviews into reforestation efforts around the world.

Every customer review helps plant a tree!

As part of Beaverswood®'s commitment to plant a minimum of 50 trees each month, we’re proud to confirm that we’ve contributed 50 trees for May 2025. These trees are helping to restore the vital Mau region of Kenya, a key area in need of ecological repair.

This month’s trees are supporting a powerful reforestation project that focuses on:

🌳 Restoring degraded forest landscapes
🦜 Protecting biodiversity and native wildlife
🌍 Creating sustainable employment for local communities
💧 Preserving critical water catchment areas

Led by Eden Reforestation Projects and verified by Ecologi, the project ensures transparency, community involvement, and long-term environmental impact.

👉 Learn more about the Forest Restoration in Kenya (Ecologi)

Get involved!

By leaving a verified review, Beaverswood® customers directly contribute to reforestation projects around the world - no extra effort required.

Every review counts. Every tree matters. And every small step brings us closer to a healthier planet that makes a meaningful difference!

Thank you for being part of the journey!

Meet the Team: Emma Walker

Emma Walker

Meet Emma, running the show behind every perfectly printed sign we ship.

Job Role: Print Production & Design Specialist

By day, Emma heads up our entire signage operation - keeping artwork in line, testing new equipment, and ensuring the UV printer runs so fast it probably qualifies as a small Hadron collider. She’s the one making sure your signs come out crisp, correct, and looking so good you'll almost want to frame them.

By night (and at lunch, and possibly during meetings), she’s an artist and tattooist with a flair for the surreal. Emma has doodled her teammates' caricatures, tattooed her designs, and once gifted our Marketing Manager a majestic drawing of a black cat brushing its teeth - a piece now regarded as priceless cultural capital within the office.

Random facts:

  • Barely ever drinks hot tea or coffee (we’ve checked – it’s not just a phase)
  • A huge Studio Ghibli fan, even if her Ghibli mug only sits decoratively at her desk
  • Can’t whistle and is jealous of anyone who can
  • Will walk through you if you pause mid-pavement (and honestly? Respect)

Q&A

💙 What’s your favourite thing about working at Beaverswood?

“The people! Honestly, I’d protect the assembly girls with my life - they’re absolute legends. There’s such a good atmosphere here, everyone’s willing to help out and have a laugh. It makes coming to work something I actually look forward to.”

📦 What’s your favourite Beaverswood® product?

“Of course, it’s signs! It’d be a bit criminal if I said anything else.”

(Although, full disclosure: when we first asked this question, Emma deadpanned with “Floor tape”. She’s got a dry sense of humour, this one.)

🎨 What skill have you learned or improved since joining the team?

“Definitely Adobe Illustrator - I’d used it a bit before, but now I’m much more comfortable with it. I’ve also levelled up my Excel skills, which I never thought I’d say. It’s weirdly satisfying once you get into it.”

🖨️ What does a typical day look like for you?

“Most days I’m working on customer artwork and setting up print jobs - especially weight load signs. The UV printer keeps me busy! But I also help with label printing and jump into assembly when needed. It’s a nice mix of creative and hands-on work, and no two days are the same.”

✅ What’s the most satisfying part of your role?

“When we get a tricky or unusual order, and I manage to get it just right, especially if it’s a rush job or needs special attention. Seeing it all come together, knowing the customer’s happy with it, and that it looks sharp - that’s a win!"

🔥 Which starter Pokémon would you choose from Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur?

“Charmander, of course. It’s got a flaming tail and turns into a literal dragon. What more do you want?”

🧟‍♀️ What’s your zombie apocalypse survival plan?

“Simple: find our UV printer, hide behind it, crack open a can of Pringles, sip on a peach iced tea, and hope for the best. If I’m going down, I’m going down snacking.”

🖌️ You have to replace your hands with something else. What do you choose?

“Paintbrushes.”

(Emma didn’t elaborate, and we chose not to press her.)
