Engineered around the impact

Explore how Rack Armour® manages impact.

Rack Armour® combines a tough outer shell with an energy-absorbing internal core and a simple clip-on design. Scroll to explore how each part contributes to protecting the racking upright.

Yellow Rack Armour® pallet racking upright protector
01

Tough yellow outer shell

The shaped HDPE outer shell helps receive and deflect the initial impact before the force reaches the vulnerable racking upright.

02

Energy-absorbing foam core

The internal blue foam core helps cushion and dissipate the remaining energy, creating a second layer of protection around the upright.

03

Clips straight onto the upright

The curved base allows Rack Armour® to clip directly around the racking upright, with no floor bolts, anchors or drilling required. There are also no floor fixings to take the impact or become damaged during a collision.

Rack Armour® vs traditional protection

Not all racking protection manages impact in the same way.

Rack Armour® is designed to absorb and dissipate impact energy, while traditional fixed steel protection commonly relies on floor anchors and rigid construction.

Opportunity throughout the customer lifecycle

One product. Plenty of customer opportunities.

Rack Armour® is not limited to one point in the racking conversation. From the first specification through to inspections, warehouse upgrades and multi-site expansion, there are repeated opportunities to introduce upright protection to your customers.

At specification

New racking projects

When a customer is already planning new pallet racking, Rack Armour® can be introduced as part of the protection requirement from the outset.

Sales opening Add upright protection to the initial racking quote.
Before handover

Installation & commissioning

Even when Rack Armour® was not included at specification stage, the completed installation creates another natural opportunity to discuss protecting vulnerable uprights.

Sales opening A straightforward add-on before the new system enters use.
In daily operation

Busy warehouse environments

As forklift trucks and other material handling equipment move around the warehouse, frequently exposed uprights become an obvious area for a protection conversation.

Busy MHE routes Cold storage High-traffic aisles
Sales opening Target areas where regular vehicle movement puts uprights at greater risk.
When risk is identified

Racking inspections

An inspection or visible damage can highlight exactly where a customer has vulnerable uprights and bring prevention higher up the agenda.

Sales opening Turn an identified racking risk into a future protection conversation.
During improvement projects

Retrofit & warehouse upgrades

Existing pallet racking does not need to be replaced before Rack Armour® can become relevant. Clip-on fitting makes retrofit opportunities simple to discuss.

Sales opening Introduce protection to existing racking without floor drilling or permanent anchors.
As the customer grows

Expansion & multi-site rollout

Once a customer has adopted Rack Armour® in one area, new bays, additional warehouses and wider site rollouts can all create further requirements.

Sales opening Turn one successful requirement into repeat product opportunities across the customer estate.
